Health & hygiene

Traveling to exotic countries can be a very fascinating experience. But there is always the chance of getting sick. In many exotic countries they have different foodpatterns and different hygiene standards which can result in diseases. Diseases that hardly exist in the Western world. By taking the right precautions one can prevent themselves from getting sick in many cases. Some of those precations start before you even have left, they start at home;
  • When you use medication, make sure you have them at hand in case your luggage gets lost and always take a prescription with you.
  • When you wear glasses or contactlenses always take an extra pare with you.
  • Bring your own condoms, you cannot always trust condoms in exotic countries and you cannot always get the right condoms in those places.
  • Always consult your family doctor or your local healthcare center before you leave.
