Habitat

Baboons live in rocky areas, acacia woodlands, open plains in the vicinity of trees, riverine forests and mountainous countries. They must have acces to water. The baboon is found in West- and Northeast africa.
Food

Baboons eat a wide variaty of food, fruits, grass, plants but also meat, like insects, reptiles, birds and eggs. On a few occasions it has been noticed that baboons were hunting a small antilope. As soon as it had been killed it was eaten by the baboons.
