General information about the common wildebeest

Habitat

Common wildebeests live in savanna and steppe-like areas in lowlands or hills. They can also be found in open woodlands.

Food

Wildebeests mainly eat short grass, but they also sometimes eat juicy plants. They are very dependent on water. There must be water in an area of 10-15 kilometers.
