Lake Nakuru National Park belongs to one of the major wildlife areas in East Africa. Lake Nakuru was declared a national park in 1961 and it now covers an area of some 200 km². The lake offers one of the world's most spectacular wildlife sights, that of brilliant pink flamingos as far as the eye can see. Also you can meet for example buffaloes, rhinos and giraffes, so it is real worth visiting.
